    Hello,

i haven't found that anyone asked that question before.

When i start DVD2DVDR and the movie needs to be encoded, he copies the movie to the Harddisk and starts DVD2AVI.

After that the Log-File shows "Searching Cinemacraft Encoder" for a while, the DVD2DVDR stops and says "File not found". It seems he couldn't find CCE.

How do i have to install CCE that DVD2DVDR can find it ?

    Thank you for your answer.

I just did the same thing... started running dvd2dvdr but then failed at searching for CCE.

Tried to download the trial version from doom9 but it was pokey and stopped halfway. I went to the official site and they now have version 2.66 for sale, which I don't know if it's compatible with dvd2dvdr.

The thing I want to know is...is CCE worth the $250 for the SE full version? I already have TMPGEnc Plus, but I've found no way that works for me for ripping DVD's (tried dvd2dvdr.com's guide...chapters out of place, movie freezes shortly after chapter skip. And Maestro is impossible to find.)

So is CCE and DVD2DVD-r worth it? Seems like an easy program to use...
