I have been trying to isolate the source of my problem with burning DVDs with Nero VE. I have exhausted all the software possibilities and still cannot get good video using Nero VE (1.04.1 better, 1.04.2b worse).
Is the SCSI host adapter the problem?
I have 1 GB PC100 Sdram and a 64 MB DDR ATI radeon video card.
For burner I use a Pioneer DVD-105. For capture I use an Adaptec firewire card with a Sony DV camcorder. My CPU is 1.4 Ghz Pentium 3.
Anyone using SCI hard drive successfully?

Sounds like you need to get rid of Vision express. Scsi should not be the root of your problems. The simple fact that you get better video with the earlier version of VE says alot.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
no problems w/ scsi and video .. all high end video systems are scsi and/or fiber and/or firewire .. in fact scsi is a requirement for most high end apps and also for all high end capture cards .. ide will not even work in the system for video capture .
