For MPEG-2, try ULead Video Studio 6's demo version. Load your video into it, select Overlay page, select the logo you wish to use, and drag onto the overlay track.

Select the Motion tab. Select the Zoom function to make the logo the right size. Select the position function, and the button that has the "iron cross" on it. Move the square that appears to where you want your logo placed.

Go back to the overlay track, grab the right edge of image and drag it all the way acroos your project until it matches the end of your video track.

The result will be your logo displayed where you want it for the duration of your video.
