  1. i got a xvid film with the following settings:

    frame size: 512*384 29,970 fps

    sampling rate 44100
    channels 2 stereo
    sample precision 0 bit

    virtual dub gives me a message that the bitrate for the sound as a inproper vbr. this may intrude up to 18187 ms skew

    what format can/shall i convert it to make an vcd/svcd?

    it is 1h 21m 30 sec long

    Search the topics "Everyone" is talking about that Xvid 8)

    You need to fix the xvid before you do anything, but the VBR wont hurt in TMPGEnc.

    but what format is 512*384? ntsc or pal?

    if i load this file in tmpenc a svcd is 4gb and a vcd is around 2gb

    I would say it is NTSC due to the framerate.

    Its a non standard widescreen, you should load a VCD template for NTSC
