I'm trying to convert a movie (Minority Report) from DIVX to SVCD in TMPG Enc Plus 2.59. I've converted many other movies without problems, but with this one TMP Enc won't let me change the end file size. Its stuck on 116% of a 80min CD and at an average bit-rate of 1600kb/s. No matter what I do, it won't let me change to anything lower than that size/bit-rate, only higher. I've tried changing settings in CBR/VBR and also in Direct Show properties but still nothing.
Could someone please advise me on how to change the size to 100% so I can actually fit it on a CD?
Thanks.

Have you tried closing the Wizard thingee and unlocking the settings yourself in the advanced menu? I realise that might sound a bit scary, but it's easy really once you take a look
(or if you're a pro and i was just really condescending, sorry.. this would be an odd problem then. never heard of the average bitrate dial getting stuck before...)-= She sez there's ants in the carpet, dirty little monsters! =-
Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!
