    I have sony dvp ns305, all region 1 dvd films appear in b&w in my sony multisystem tv. Help please.

    Ok, well its not your DVD player they play both PAL and NTSC, when you put the DVD in, does it display NTSC on its screen?

    Your TV must also support NTSC, as the sony will play it "As Is"

    PAL in PAL out
    NTSC in NTSC out

    Make sure things are switching, and make sure your TV supports NTSC and is switching

    Read your TV's owner's manual.

    There will undoubtedly be a button on your TV remote control that will change the display setting from PAL to NTSC and vice versa.

    The problem was that my tv is multisysyem but this dosn't include ntsc 3.5.
    What surprise! There is 2 different ntsc. I think I have to change my tv.
