I'm running into the same problem as I had with TMPGEnc, that is the use of filters when encoding. I need some good filter recommendations when encoding from VHS sources to the final VCD or SVCD specs. Anyone up to the task?

I'm also running into a problem when attempting to convert high bitrate Mpeg-2 caps to Divx 5.02. Procoder gives me the audio but no video (black screen) on conversion. Any setting I'm missing?

Sure wish VDub would handle WDM so I could cap in AVIs again. That would solve my filtering problems. The wrapper doesn't work on my system so I'm forced to use other means even if they aren't as good. Ah well, we can hope that something gets done with that program this year...
