Just an FYI for anyone seeing this. Found the solution on the web (it's really gonna take off someday!!). If you're computer seems to hang when you load into windows, ie antivirus software takes forever to come up in task bar, start menu hangs... ect, and you have a dynamic IP address, stress on dynamic, you can make a simple change to your IP address. Change the IP address of your internet adapter (ie lan card) to 192.168.0.1 and your subnet to 255.255.255.0. Reboot and see what this gains. Have been running this for two weeks with no problems on my dynamic connection, my understanding is that it this delay is only tied to dynamic users with any form of internet software (ie antivirus, firewalls) loaded. Hope this helps someone, my 1 minute wait is now an acceptable 7 seconds...

Thanks for that, Ducatti20. I have that problem. I have to wait about 2 minutes. Where abouts do you change your IP address? It won't mess anything up, will it?
