Does anyone know where i can buy the Canopus ADVC 100 in the uk for a decent price ?

The cheapest i can find is £270 which seems expensive when its a lot cheaper in the usa, And i guess the US version is not compatable in the UK with the PAL/NTSC thing or does it support both in one unit ?

Hope someone can help thanks in advance

I don't know of any sellers in the UK (as I am in the US) but I think that the ADVC-100 just has a NTSC/PAL toggle switch on the bottom of the box. I'm at work so I can't look at my own but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Also, don't most US companies ship out of the country?

  3. Got mine from www.dvdstuff.co.uk

I paid £259.99 including VAT & postage. It was the cheapest price I could find in the UK.

..It's just a shame I can't get a decent capture, without dots all over the screen

I have an ADVC here in Australia, the unit has dip switches on the bottom for PAL or NTSC.

I have no problems capture DV or analogue though, check the ource or cables.
