    Is there a hack available to change regions on this drive?
    I tried using DVD Genie and I don't think it works. After setting
    it initally on region 1, I used DVD Genie to change to region 2
    and Windows prompted me to change the region.

    No apparent hacks yet. It is still very new. But with all the legit firmware versions floating around it may be possible to flip the right bit.
