Movies have sound, but talking is muffled

I have a few movies in xvid and divx, but when i try to view them, the audio is fine except that when people talk, it is almost impossible to hear it cause its too quiet. Could this be in a setting? I tested the movies on another computer and they work fine. I have XviD, DivX, and AC3 installed. I have tried to view the movies with realone, windows media player, bsplayer, ati video player, and vidomi.

Since it works on other PC's I assume it's not the DivX, but your system.
Have you tried installing audio codecs?

I had this with DTS audio, I upgraded my software and it worked fine.
