am having a problem with my vcd it was scratched and now the movie will freeze or garble up am trying to extract the dat file but it won't go past 53% most of my movies are like that it freezes on the dvd player but when i play it on the pc it does not skip or freeze. my question is what can i do to correct my cd... so far my player which is xv-s300 jvc is doing the same with some other scratched cds i got.![]()

try copieng the movie with your computer on a new disk....

it's ok now i just returned my jvc xv-s300bk that player bites dust it kept jerking i now have the new sony and it plays everything thanks for the reply...no more jerkiness
