  1. Okay I searched, but I'm WAY too new at this. . .I have Screenblast Movie Studio and created a VCD. I am able to play the .dat file with windvd on my computer, but I cannot get my Sony DVP S330 player to recognize that that there is a disk in the player. I must be missing something. I searched and found that my DVD player does play both CDs and VCDs but it won't recognize the fact that the VCD is in there. . .HELP.

    I suggest you read through the user comments at: http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=423&Search=Search&#comments It seems like your DVD player is very "picky" about the brand of CDRs that seem to work. I suggest you try CD-RW disks.
