  1. I've tried everything I can think of to try and encode this file to mpg with TMPGenc. Direct stream Copy in Virtual dub, encoding to another codec in virtual dub, frameserving, etc... and it always crashes the program in the same place. I'm going nuts. How can I fix this? AARRRGGHH!!!

    If it's crashing in the same place have u checked it for bad frames?
