So all I need to do is use Nero's cdcopy feature?

  3. There is a freeware CD copy program called "Raw CD Copy". It will copy your VCDs and SVCDs easily. And it's a small executable.

I have occasionally experinced problems copying SVCDs. I'm not sure exactly why, but a foolproof method is to copy the AVSEQ01.MPG from the MPEG2 directory to HD. Use TMPG's mpeg tools to multiplex (Type MPEG-2 Super VideoCD), choosing a new name for the muxed mpeg. Burn this with Nero.

This is slower than copying, but guaranteed to work.

JUST USE NERO. EITHER ON THE FLY OR BUY USING THE DISK->HD->DISK OPTION.

    Use CloneCd

because in VCD/SVCD make, we don't use error protection, for use all the space...

So, CloneCd copy all, errors and everything, making a clone form CD...

    sorry my english

I tried that but the resulting file was 489MB while the mpeg on the svcd was 804MB. What does this mean?

The size of the AVSEQ01.MPG should be reported the same on the disc as on your HD by Explorer. If this is the case, then something is going wrong at the multiplexing stage. Make sure you have the correct MPEG2 Super Video CD option selected when muxing. It is also possible there is an mpeg error which is truncating the muxed file, which should be roughly the same size as the AVSEQ01.MPG.

Something else you might try is to get hold of the free copy of Isobuster, and extract the AVSEQ01.MPG with that. Also try the Extract but filter only M2F2 mpeg frames option.
