When I enable "CDRDAO" and restart it, I get a message that it can't find C:/WINDOWS/System32/WnAsp32.dll
Does anybody know where I can get this file?

If you look through the Help text, somewhere buried in it it says to grab the wnaspi32.dll you're missing from Nero if you have a copy that came with your cd-rw. Search your C drive and see if you don't have it somewhere. (If so, copy it to the cdrao directory and you'll get past this issue.) I used the Nero version, but I have another wnaspi32 from adaptec in windows\system32 which is a somewht smaller file size (44K vs. 129K); don't know if that version will work or not. If all else fails, I can email you a copy of the one I'm using.
Cdrao works very well once you get it set up and figure out how to use it. It took me about 5 errors and about an hour to burn my first vcd, then less than 3 minutes thereafter. Hope this is helpful,[/quote] -
RyanD:
If what elevensmile said doesn't work then, check in VCDEasy, in the bottom right corner, does it say ASPI seems valid: yes, or ASPI seems valid: no? If it says ASPI seems valid: no, that is your main problem. In that case I suggest you go to: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/frcaspi.cfm , download the ForceASPI drivers, install them and reboot. If after you reboot, it shows "ASPI seems valid: yes" then on the CDRDAO settings page, select generic-mmc as the force driver for the CD Writer, select your specific CD Writer in the dropdown menu for that section and check the force execution box. Now you should be able to burn using CDRDAO, which is the CD burning program built in to VCDEasy.
