    btw, has it started to work (time display) only with this latest version, or is this a general statement?

    The time display started to work with v.0.7.10pre4. I tried 0.7.7 and 0.7.9 too.

    ..hmm, I jumped the gun. Time display as usual only without a PBC section in the .xml file. Nevertheless you do a great job hvr, thank you for that.
    I am afraid, it is a kind of limitation of the VCD format, because I tried all available authoring software around, but nothing helped. Unfortunatly my player doesn't play SVCD, so I have to stay with this f***ing XVCD. How about SVCD time display? Is that the same trouble?
    But something is really new from v.0.7.10pre4. Do you remember vitualis' "chapter" method by editing the cuesheet?
    This method never worked for me, but with the latest version of vcdimager it does.
