Hi. I have a music DVD that I want to rip just the audio from, and convert to MP3. I'm a complete novice, and have only ever ripped from a music CD (using Musicmatch Jukebox). Do I need a different program etc ?

Hi there
You need to rip the DVD to your hard drive with something like smartripper, then use DVD2AVI to extract the AC3/PCM file and re-encode that with something like HeAC3he.
Thats how i usually do it, there may be a quicker way, but i havn't done it for a while, and if u need more details then let me know.
