    Is their anyway of speeding up the converting it say 29 hours to convert half a jay and silent bob strike back what is the porblem

    You need to give more information, like what is your source DVD, AVI, Dvx, what program and settings are you using for encoding, what is you target format, and the basic spec of your computer.

    My computer is a 500 mhz Pentium III (don't laugh) and it takes 30 hours to encode a DVD rip two hours long to good quality SVCD using Tmpgenc.
