This is ridiculous already. I dumped Nero because of the many bugs it has, and have been using RecordNowMax every since. I noticed that when burning with Nero, the last chapter of certain DVD's would freeze. I actually thought it was the DVD at first, and maybe I had a bad Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R, but I noticed then when the same exact movie was burned again, the freeze occured within the ending credits. Not enough to make me throw the disk out, but it was annoying. I tried RecordNowmax and the movies seemed to play flawlessly. That was until I started watching the movies and realized that on some movies it would freeze then skip anywhere between the last five to fifteen minutes of the movie. These were all +R's and I haven't heard one person say they know what causes this. Nero did it a lot more often then RecordNowMax, and the skipping is ALWAYS at the end of the disk. Not the Beginning or middle, just the end. It's very frustrating because I've lost a lot of money on blank media. I am trying to figure out why this ONLY happens at the ending of the movies. I was watching LOTR last night and the ENTIRE movie played flawlessly on my DVD+R, and the last seven minutes or so starting to skip/hiccup, , just like usual. Also, it seems to do this when a movie takes up most of the space of the blank DVD-R. The thing that is odd though is that I backed up Ace Ventura, and that movie gave me freezing towards the last four minutes or so, but when I burned with RecordNowMax I didn't get ANY skipping towards the end of the movie. That's why I thought the problem was from Nero alone, but it seems that Nero just made it worse, the problem is still seriously there, and I can't make any more movies with this problem continuing. Ace ventura was an exact back up. I ripped with DVd Decryptor, and burned. I didn't use IFOEdit or Maestro, so I have ruled out those two programs as any contributor to this problem.

If ANYONE can supply information about this very big problem, please do. Also, if anyone else has had this happen to them, please be SPECIFIC and say what type of media you are using, and at WHAT SPEED you are burning that media at, as well as what burning software you are using. I am thinking about trying Prassi Primo. Has ANYONE had this problem and used Prassi Primo to burn?
