    I need help on step-by-step process of burning DVD to .avi/divx. Ive tried a few methods and got as far as ripping the movie but either 1. No sound or 2. The movie is in poor quality. Like for instance i was trying to do DragonBall Z movie and whenever they move fast, i see these vertical lines. Can someone please help me!

    what guide or programs you useing?
    the lines could be because its NTSC
    depending how you rip, the audio could come out as ac3(seperate file) which you need to join or need to tell the program to join it.

    I am using smart ripper. After that i tried usind DVDx, Xmpeg, and DVD2AVI. Also, how do u get rid of those lines?
