    Krammie, you won't get any answers to this post, until you ask a reasonable question. What were you doing when you go the error. What software were you using? Were you playing back an MPEG? Trying to encode one? Did it pop up right away? Can you reproduce it every time? Etc...

    you havent installed an AC3 codec OR
    the ac3 codec is not in the correct directory if it is installed
    or you are still drunk from christmas and operating the microwave

    With frame server of virtualdub i try to put on a subtittle under an avi file and i got the megges bij Tmpgenc when i load audi wav file after i had covert the acr audio to wav.
