  1. the 15 day free trial ran out so i can not reencode an avi to mpeg-2. any way i can get around this or di i actually have put up $48 to get the full version. any other plug in i can get? thanx :(

    If you want free mpeg encoding use bbmpeg.

    $48 for TMPGEnc isn't that much compared to CCE for $2000!!! :P

    Something I don't get, everytime my"free trial" times down to 8 days it goes back to the default the next day. In the YEARS I've been using tmpg it's never timed out. WEIRD!

    Actually, you can take advantage of both the TMPGenc 30 day trial and the TMPGenc Plus 15 day trial, I think (unless they've changed the protection system). After that if intend to encode on a regular basis TMGPenc plus is a good investment, or you can go with bbmpeg.
