*Newb alert*
Just installed an Osprey 220 video card with the intention of capturing some video for streaming.
I have managed to figure out some settings for video that give great results (almost no frame loss and nice file sizes) - 320X240, 24bit RGB video, using the DivX 4.0 fast motion codec.
BUT my audio is out of control! Using PCM at 44,100 Hz, 16bit stereo I'm coming up with 2 minute segments where I've got really nice video at around 5000kb but the audio track is in excess of 30MB for the same 2 minutes!
Now I know I could goof around with settings for the next few hours, but if any of you guys could give me a setting for decent quality stereo audio with file sizes in the same range as the video ones I'm getting, I would be very appreciative!
BTW, if you can come up with better settings for the video compression, I'd be willing to hear those too!
Thanks,
MJW
