I will try to explain this problem as best as I am able.

I am attempting to burn 6 episodes of a television show to disk. 5 were originally MPGs, one was Divx.

The Divx one is giving me a lot of problems. The others work fine.

I converted all the files to M2V using the same settings in TMPGenc. Constant bitrate of 1200.

All of the files are accepted by Scenarist initially, and all play fine. When i go to make the disk, however, i get this error.

Info Multiplexing VOB Main Stream
Error Video or Audio Buffer underflow: (Dts: 91178319, SCR 91178337)
Error dvd_mux : DoMux Multiplexing Error
Error Terminated Multiplexing (firefly.scn-Firefly.S01E03-t_t.vob).
Error Total bitrate is too HIGH. Please reduce the stream bitrate or the number of stream.
Error Multiplex is failed.

I have seen this error mentioned before in the forums, but the problem was always that the bitrate was set too high. Mine is set to 1200 with a normal audio track (same size as all the others). I cannot be crossing the 9.8 threshold, at least unless something is really really wrong.

With that in mind, I scanned the file with Bitrate Viewer. The peak is 1300.

Oddly, I have had success with MOST divx files using the same settings. The files that DO NOT work are the ones that show another problem. When i load them into TMPGEnc, the running time is shown incredibly inflated. I also found mention of that in the boards (a common problem), and raised directshow priority as suggested, which fixed that problem (the running time shows correctly). Reincoding those files in that way, I thought my problem was solved. But i still get the same Scenarist error.

I hope someone has seen this problem and can advise me... Thanks in advance!
