Open the MPG/DAT file in VirtualDub and select File/Save image sequence. Choose a source range first if you only want a certain part of your video.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand binary
and those who don't. -
I use MGI Videowave II that came with Roxio EZCD Creator but I believe Virtualdub should do this nicely - load the DAT file or MPEG1 file, go to the location, then do File - Save Image Sequence and in the dialog select Windows BMP and 1 frame.
Windows Movie Maker Beta 2 for XP should work also...Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
Thanx Guys for the help ..... the tips did work and i was able to make still pictures out of the vcd.
Thanx once againGayathri
