  1. I have a movie in the format of Mpeg2 and I can not view it unless I have a codec installed. I installed Elecard Mpeg2 DEMO codec and I can run the mpeg2 video file under Windows media but the screen looks really small. Another thing is that Elecard's codec is a DEMO. I try the other mpeg2 codec "The free codec installer" from the tools section in Vcdhelp.com and it does not work.

So if I convert the mpeg2 file to a divx will I be able to watch it then? How do I do this? Thanks

You could also play it with a software dvd player like WinDVD or PowerDVD.

  4. Use DVD2AVI to make a *.d2v file, and then just use TMPGEnc or some other encoder to make a vcdcompatible file.
