  1. Hi everyone,
I really find this site very usefull and it has helped me learn everything about the world of digital video. One thing I couldn't find was how to convert NTSC to PAL. Here's my problem, I have some videos on my NTSC Digital Camcorder. I captured them as AVI's on the computer using Firewire. Now I want to make them Mpeg-1 to put on a VCD which will play in Mauritius (they use PAL in VCD Players there). I was thinking of just changing the regular setting of NTSC to PAL in TMPGEnc and then burning the encoded video normally using Nero. Is that enough for a VCD to play in a country where they use VCD players of PAL? Any other special settings I should be aware of? Any special settings in Nero?
I could find a guide for PAL->NTSC but none for NTSC->PAL. Thanks a lot.
I don't know much about anything, so don't get irritated at me.

  4. Ok I was just trying to do the conversion from TMPGEnc and when I go to Other Settings in the wizrd, in the video tab, infront of Video Format is says NTSC. And it is greyed out too, so I can't change that. Any ideas?
