Hi,
I was just wondering if perhaps anyone knows the answer to my question.
Here goes...
I have a 16:9 television
to my knowlegde 16/9 = 1.78:1
when i watch dvd movies that are at 1.85:1
they are full screen on the 16:9 tv
my dvd player is set to 16:9 and i know my tv is set right
does anyone know why a 1.85:1 movie plays at 1.78:1, shouldnt there be slight black bars at top and bottom?
do the makers of the dvd do this or something, anyways im just curious about that
if u can answer that would be great
