I'm trying to rip Southpark episodes into SVCD's and everything is going great (until now). Does anobody have settings for TMPGEnc that would produce great results for me ? I'm trying to fit 3 episodes/80 min disc.
Grateful for answers !!
Keep up the good work guy's

Do you really need SVCD? If they're VHS rips, VCD will do just as well as SVCD, and you'll be able to fit a lot more. Try using a VBR CQ and fool around with that, downgrade the sound a bit, and see how you can get it all to work. It'll be XVCD, but it's MUCH better than SVCD (unless you're doing DVD rips, which I don't think exist).
Or just do it on VCD and see what happens. -
Thanks for the input, but they actually are DVD-rips.I have already downgraded the sound to 160 kbs but I want to keep picturequality to a maximum.Oh I almost forgot, it's in PAL.Thanks again.

well, i've been doing the new series off the net onto XVCD, but 4 eps a disc, seeing as they're coming from DivX's anyway. 1106kbps video, 128kbps audio. works fine. for three eps, use 1494kbps video and 128kbps audio. using SVCD isn't really necesary, and youll only really get 2 eps on there.
