What's The Name Of The Program

I used to have a program that would let me author a dvd using just vob files that i made, but i can't find it, nor do i know what it's name was.

All i can tell u, is that it's quite old.

My problem is that when i use ifo-edit to make new ifo's from my vobs, all seems fine on my PC DVD, but i just get data-error on my stand-alone, but if i burn an unpacked dvdr image & burn it, then it plays fine on both. So i thought ok then i'll make my newly made ifo's vob's bup's into an .img and burn it that way, but still i get the data-error on playback on the stand-alone, but works great on the PC DVD.

So if u can remember any authoring/burning software that will build a working dvd from just vobs, please tell me...

make sure you get VTS sectors after u create ur IFO files with ifoedit.

the way to do this is to, after it has finished creating the ifo files, close ifoedit then re-open ifoedit.
open VIDEO_TS.ifo
The press Get VTS sectors
then kick clicking ok when the diolog box comes up

problem sorted, no it should play on ur stand alone.

i dont know if u was already doing this as you dont say in ur statement.

yes its a data disc
add folder it should be the VIDEO_TS folder
it takes about 45min to 1 hour but its wotrth the wait

Forget Ifoedit, i've already said it don't work in this particular case

I know a program exists to build/author a dvd from vobs, it is this program i'm looking for ?

Still can't find that program, but i have worked-out the problem using Ifo-Edit's vob extras

If anyone else has had this problem :-

"Used ifo-edit to create a new set of bup/ifo's, & i corrected vts sectors, but the dvd will still jump/skip on my stand-alone"

I can do a step by step guide that made it play perfectly
