Hello,
I have Lord of the rings Extended Edition NTSC and PAL.
The thing is that the PAL version has DTS French audio track.
Now I would like to convert the PAL DVD to NTSC, but I saw a lot of threads that it's really a pain.
Now I have 2 ideas, which one is the best?
1- Is there a bit in some .ifo files that tells the DVD player that this title is PAL or NTSC? I could just modify that file and play it on my Player. I don't care losing the bottom or things like that. Also, I know about decrypting and region coding things.
2- Can I use the Video stream from the NTSC one and the Audio from the PAL one? Will it causes some sync problems?
Also, on my modded Xbox with DVDX software all PAL DVD plays correctly on my TV, any explanations?
Thank you.
Pitou!
