  1. This is my 1st time trying to burn a VCD and I don't know a lot about this....

When I open VCDeasy it gives me this message:

"No CD Writer/Reader found or ASPI drivers problem"

Then in VCDeasy... where it says "CD Writer", it says "No CD Writer Selected" and I can't click on it because it is greyed out.Yes, CDRDAO integration is enabled.

I also tried downloading new ASPI drivers.... didn't work. Restarted, then tried, still didnt work. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Nick

You don't need to use VCDeasy to burn the file. Have it save the .bin image it creates, then burn it with Nero.

There is a way to get VCDEasy to recognise the drive, but I can't remember how, sorry.

  3. Ok, I'll try and get the Nero demo, and burn the .bin image it creates.

    Thanks

CDRWin is also able to burn .bin images. You can get it at www.goldenhawk.com

Try the ForceASPI drivers in the tools section, and make sure you reboot afterwards. Most of the time that gets CDRDAO in VCDEasy working properly to burn to CD.

I looked in the Tools section and I can't find anywhere where it says ForceASPI drivers..... can you explain a bit more? Thanks.....

If anyone else knows how to fix this problem in VCDeasy please let me know....

Try using the search function on this forum. You should come up with the answers you need.
