Hi all,

Couple of quick things.

Am I under the wrong impression that if I use Smartripper and rip a DVD to a vob file which is DVD5 size, then use NERO to create a DVD, that this will work? I tried this earlier using the UDF DVD mode and produced a coaster Now I'm testing my creations on a DVDRW

Also, I used DVD Decryptor on Happy Gilmore which is a DVD5 movie. When writing the iso, you are given the choice of selecting either the *.dvd extension or *.iso

I chose the *.iso file and it was around 300Mb smaller than the *.dvd file. This still burnt OK and played on my standalone. However, halfway through the last chapter, it froze then went back to the DVD Root Menu. When I get the chance I will try to burn the *.dvd file to see if it makes a difference...

Well I just tested burning the *.dvd file instead. It seems obvious to me now that it is some sort of cue file. The movie plays perfectly on my standalone. Still I am unsure about the first part of my original post regarding Smartripper and NERO.

Also, this might be a silly question, but what version of UDF does DVD Decryptor burn in? 1.02, 1.50 or 2.00 (I think )?
