Can't play DVD with Win DVD

Hello,
I can't play DVD with Win DVD, i always have the same error which appears when i run the application: "Can't create a color superposition, please change the resolution of the screen or the depth of colors".
I tryied everythings, i changed depht of colors in 32 bits, in 64 bits...I changes the resolution of the screen, both in the same time.
I tryied to use another application ( like PowerDVD), but i have the same error.
One month ago, i could read DVD with Win DVD, but now i don't know what happens, what kind of problem it is. On my point of view i've tryied everything, but maybe ( i hope) you have other solution(s).

if your running xp do a system restore point back to the month you new your windvd worked
