Hello,

I have captured several home movies with my ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Pro into DVD compliant MPEG2 files. I have been trying relentlessly to author the captures onto DVD+R/DVD+RW discs with a second audio stream, so that the final burnt DVD disc contains a Movie with dual audio that I can switch between. The purpose is so that I can either watch the movie with the original soundtrack (speech) or switch over to the second audio streem (music or something else).

I have successfully added a second audio stream to my captured MPEG2 file using both BBMPEG and TMPGEnc. I have then authored my MPEG2 capture (containing the the two audio streams) with ULEAD DVD WORKSHOP, ULEAD MOVIEMAKER, SONIC MYDVD 3 and 4.

I have then burnt the DVD disc using both the above programs and using Nero 5.5 (after using the above programs to generate VOB Files/Folders etc).

After all of this the final DVD does not contain the second audio stream!!!, neither do the VOB files that are generated by the ULEAD and Sonic programs.

The ONLY successful way I have been able to acheive my intended goal is by using IFOEdit which allows me to audio the second audio stream and it then creates VOB files that I have burnt to DVD+R and DVD+RW discs using Nero 5.5. The final DVD's play perfectly on my SHARP DV-740H, and I can switch between both audio streams.

The only problem with IFOEdit is that it does NOT allow you to create CHAPTERS and only works with one MPEG file at a time.

SO! now I come to my dilema. Is there anyway I can author and burn my captured MPEG files with two audio streams?

Many thanks,

MAKTIGER
