    I just burned a few movies on cd's to free up my hard drive.
    the problem I am getting is that during playback, the movie will pause while the audio continues.

    I wanted to know why this would be and what I can do to prevent it?

    This can happen for many reasons.
    one reason is you may have burned it to fast
    and another could be because you have a few programs running while you are trying to watch it.

    well i burned them at 16X and they are 48X compatible... so im thinking they are because of my programs in the background
