Hello. I know someone who is selling music videos on a cd-r and the videos are in the following formats: mpeg, avi, m2v. I have an Apex (AD-1100W) dvd player and it plays vcd's and svcd's. Can apex's play avi's and m2v? What is m2v???

Ummm, no. To play on your DVD player you need them to be MPEG1 or MPEG2 (that's VCD or SVCD). Your Apex will play most variations of MPG, and even jsut MPG's on a disk (as opposed to burning as a VCD/SVCD).

You can convert to SVCD or VCD by following one of the guides on that subject ( look to the left ). I would think Audio is important, so you want a good audio bitrate. Just read the guides...
