  1. I'm wondering, is there an Apex (any model) emulator?
Instead of reripping and encoding and burning. IT would be great to have some emulator that would load the file or image and use the same decoding mechanisms that Apex (any models) use. It would save great deal of time and hassles?

If you think it's dum, don't answer

I think you would ned the same drive that the apex unit used to have an accurate emulation.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. And can you explain exactly the purpose of doing something like this, and how it would save time?

Uh. After re-reading it, I guess you mean that you're having problems with VCD's that don't work well... Sounds to me like you need to know what your player supports and stick to that...

When i had my old 4x burner, i suppose this would have come in handy instead of having to wait 20 min to burn a CD to find out it wouldnt play.. However, now it only takes me about 6 min to burn a CD, and they are so damn cheap these days, it doesnt make much of a difference to me anymore.

  5. yea, but I have dvd burner and RW speed is 1x so it's not that quite fast and for me to test a movie is alot of time
Also, I lose the sound sometimes in my movies when I test them on dvd player, therefore, I thought having emulator it would be a great thing. You can create a movie and test it right in there on your PC.
