    I really like the way Workshop lays authors, chapter and menu setup is quick and easy and produces good enough results for me. The output vobs are broken for me. With the 1.2 trial I'm getting choppy playback. I'd like to find a program that is roughly as easy to do chapters and menus but the output vobs are rock solid. Any suggestions? I'd rather not spend more than $300, and there is no way I'm paying without being able to test drive it before I'm paying.

    Maybe Sonic DVDit SE or PE? http://www.dvdit.com/ - their trial seems to be offline but you can ask them.
