  1. I ripped (using Smartripper) Face Off and ripped all files to my harddrive. Now what should be the next thing to do. I've read and read and search and I am confused with all the different ways of making the movie fitting on a single DVD-R. The movie itself is about 6megs. I want to keep the 5.1 sound but would like to lower the size of the movie. The movie is in 16x9 format. The help I need is a walkthough on what to do after the movie is on the HD.

    Thank You,
    Craig

  2. check the guides on this site. there are plenty of options open to you. I personally use dvd2svcd which reencodes the video and keeps the original audio. here is a guide on how to do this.

You could use Ifoedit to strip uneeded steams. There is sometimes a 192bit soundtrack, using that and only the video stream will produce the smallest set of files. Ifoedit would also allow you to author it into a burnable set of files. Frankly it's not likely that stripping is going to reduce 6GB down to 4.37,but you could try it.
