I have a ATI Radeon 7500 AIW. The output cables for the vid card include s-video, composite video, rca l-r, and a coaxial s/pdif connector. I have found how to enable the s/pdif output for my sony dolby digital compatible reciever, but only in the ATI provided DVD player. I want to be able to do the same with my AC3 coded divx files. Zoomplayer is the only divx player i have read about that u can enable the s/pdif output, but this output that it enables is on the soundcard. I have a soundblaster live value, and do not have the adapter for digital out on the soundcard, I would prefer to use the ati s/pdif digital out instead, b/c it does not require a adapter. I must mention that I am also using a leapfrog 2.4 ghz wirless a/v sender in my system along with a toshiba true flat 32" set. This setup has excellent results with the analog hook-ups im just hoping to take advantage of the AC-3 divx's and my DD reciever now !
