Hi first of all i would like to tell you i'm new to this and i don't want this trial and error i have a hp 7840, i have to drives cd/r and cd rom i have tmpegnc and i have easy cd creator 4 i have a disc of roxio burner 5 so which ever one you think more impoprat please post i have a samsung dvd-m301, i am also using duraband cd-r for cd or media whatever, please tell me if i have the right stuff and if i don't what do i need and with what i have what i have what are the excat steps i download all my movies off kazaa if you need to know please please if their is anyone out their that knows the steps with what i have please tell me it would be very very much apprichated.

Terrance, as long as you have approx a 1 ghz plus processor and at least 256 mb ram, you should be ok. I am not sure about your DVD player, so check the DVD player list to the left <-------to see if yours can play VCD/SVCD, and what your limitations might be. D/L VCDeasy for burning, its better than Roxio and is free. When your ready to begin, check some of the excellent guides in the NEWBIE how to section for step by step instruction for TMPGenc encoding, and enjoy.
