  1. ok i have been searching and searching for answers...but am still not satisfied....so i am going to ask here...

    Here is my problem:

I live in the U.S. and am planning on getting a DVD player after the new year....

I have like 50 live music performances that where recorded in Europe in MPG PAL 352 by 288 for the most part....

If i buy a DVD player here in the U.S. i want to play these MPGs on my DVD player....but i have been playing with TMPeg and when ever i try and convert the videos to NTSC the "SIZE" changes and doesnt look as good as the original 352 by 288...

NOW...do i have no choice but to convert ALL of the MPGs to NTSC from PAL inorder for them to play in a U.S. DVD player?....
    OR
Can i leave them as PAL and they will work fine?.....

not sure if it matters but the majority of these videos are ripped from television....and are NOT from original DVDs made in PAL....

also.....when i do burn them to be watched on my TV does it make a difference on the kind of television i own???????????????????????

    i hope i explained what i mean...

if u need any other information just ask...i need to know so i can start converting ASAP...which i hope i dotn have to do

    Hello pal,

Your miseries are over. Get a DVD player that support both NTSC and PAL. I assume most do.

    Take care.
