    I was trying to rip The Blues Brothers; but after I ripped just the movie vobs they totaled 4.76 gig which is too big for one dvd+r disc. It was the version with all the extended scenes. I wanted to know if anyone else has burned this movie and how they did it. I also tried Dick Tracy and it was 5.26 gigs for just the movie vobs; the movie is 117 minutes long.

    never messed with those movies but looks like you need to encode it...

    I just finished with BBros, and I reencoded, which turned out very well because the film does not require high bitrates for quality. I got away with VBR avg 4000 min 0 and max 8000. Thats my usual settings to get good results with most movies.
