Today I ripped AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and the whole process went perfectly except for 1 flaw. The original movie says on the back cover 1.85:1 so i used the 16:9 (borders added, ecnoded as 4:3) Aspect Ratio. When I play the movie on my HOME DVD player the top / bottom bars are 4 1/2" / 5" respectively but the ORIGINAL DVD bars are 2 1/2" / 2 3/4". How can I get the SVCD to make the bars CLOSER if not the SAME SIZE as the original DVD so I'm not giving up so much viewable screen?
THANKS in advance....
