  1. I am running win2000 and when ever i try to delete an .avi file my computer hangs up. I read on another page that you can delete a line from the registry if you are using win xp i tried but did not fined the specified line. Is there a fix some were on this site or does somebody have a suggestion. Please any help. Thanks

You can try booting into Safe Mode and then do a file search for any .avi extensions and delete them there, or if you know the exact location, just delete it.

  4. If I play an AVI in WinXP, sometimes on random ones I can not delete them either. I either wait awhile (sometimes a reboot doesn't help) or I use Nero's explorer and it deletes it 9 out of 10 times. Very annoying.

Thanks for the link about the tweeks crack_man (figure with a name like that he'd be less helpful).
