    hi,

    Im gonna be buying a DVD writer this christmas and in your opinion whcih one is better, whether it be price/performance/reliability

    SONY DRU-500A DVD+-R/RW Internal
    PIONNER A105

    I originally thought that Pionner was the best bet being cheap, but i love Sony products so maybe their the best in the long run

    I'm very happy with my Sony.

    I'm looking forward to cheap 4X media, and with the Sony I won't have to worry whether the market chooses +R or -R in the long run.
