I'm just about sold on Ulead DVD Workshop 1.3 and would like to know where to buy it. Is the Ulead web site the only place to download @ $279?
I haven't seen advertisement anywhere to shop around. $279 it's a lot of money for me but since Pinnacle Studio 8 doesn't work well I have to invest somewhere else.

    Any clue?
    Regards,

And...........Chances are it will work with your system, unlike Pinnacle Studio 8.

  3. Hello-I would be interested in the DVD Workshop, I have a few Ulead programs, they are worth the money. I have not tried the new MovieFactory, surely limited, but $45 without leaving my chair is a pretty good deal. I got MyDVD with my DVD burner, I would really have to see something to buy a Sonic product, especially an expensive one. It would be worth a couple hundie to have some creative room to move.
Do most of the more expensive/professional DVD authoring programs allow you to hyperlink to other files and internet URLs?

I got mine with Premiere 6.5 for $225.

Sure the DVDW is the SE version, but it works for what I want. The Premiere is a full version minus the DVDit part.

Oh, they also toss in a capture card!

    www.dv-gear.com

    Get the PyroPlatinum card.

I thought this was a sleazy come-on when I first saw it on this site, but if you go to Ads site (www.adstech.com) you will find it is for real. They sell it much cheaper, and they deliver without a problem. I'm real happy! Bummer though that to upgrade from the SE to the full is at quite a cost. I'm hopping that when they get to DVDW v2 that they offer a better upgrade - probably not - but I still hope!

I bought mine on ebay for £12.99 !! The only thing wrong with it was the original disks were damaged so I received backed-up disks and the the box and manual were damaged so there were not available .
