  1. Hi everyone.

I have 'The Office' and its on a DVD9 8gigs worth, it has over
6 vobs ranging from 1gig to 1.5 each!

What is the easiest/fastest way of putting this on 2 DVDR's...

Not bothered about menus or re-encoding.

I have tried testing it with 1 vob via Nero onto my DVD-RW but
i dont think my DVD player or Xbox likes it.

I dont really want to make coasters.

    Cheers.

    Rob.

  2. Buy more +RW(faster for testing) or -RW disks and test some guides that you can find here or on www.doom9.org

  4. Whoa !! Wait a minute guys !!

If you don't mind putting a DVD on 2 DVD-Rs the easiest way is to use DVDXCOPY. It is almost too easy and you will have all the menus and everything else with no extra hassle. Since that was so easy, 2 DVD-Rs wasn't enough to satisfy me. Only 1 DVD-R will do.

I have been racking my brains out trying to find a way to get a regular DVD onto 1 DVD-R. Lots of good info and guides here and at Dooms. Look for methods that talk about turning DVD-9 into DVD-5. I'm having a great time trying to be successful at this. I'm pretty close. This is fun.

A very nice GUIDE you have put together at your web site.

One suggestion on how to improve it, on the page referenced below you talk about VOBrator and how it crashes often. I have solved that problem! Try out my suggestion and if you agree, update your web page!

  7. I just happen to have "Bad Company". I'll try to do as soon as my other project is finished.

I'm having a problem with the mpv file that CCE creates after the first pass. The size seems ok (~3.8G) but it will not play using PowerDVD. The bar goes immediatley all the way to the right and nothing happens. Any ideas.

  8. I just did Bad Company.

It works perfectly. Right before it popped out the original and asked for the blank media, it did say something about DVDXCOPY does not support this or something like that. I just clicked "Burn Now" anyways. I had a Sony DVD+RW that had part of Star Wars Ep2 on it. It spit it out. I put it back in and click "Quick erase". It did it's things and then started copying the first CD for Bad Company. Took about 40 minutes. I popped it in my Sony 9000ES and it worked perfectly.
